Hello guys,
I'm looking for a new (nikon) camera, at the moment I have an Nikon D50. But I want a newer and better one. Since my photos are screwed in the dark.
Do you guys maybe have some advice for a good camera for me?

its depend whats equipment you already have, whats you gonna shoot and whats budget you have. What is importat for you?

Well, it doesn't have to be a very professional one. But I really hate the fact that my photos are blurry when it's dark..
I already have an 18-55 mm and a 70-300 mm on my Nikon D50.
And my budget is round the €500,-
I'll shoot nature, street and animal pictures.

if you dont need good and quick AF buy D5100 or D5200, if you wanna also good AF buy D7100 or d7000, or D300s (older but one of the best ever AF on DX camera but not so good matrix like a D7000 or D7100)

Thank you for accepting my photo!
I have had many rejected in the past but I am honored to finally have one get in.
I've just been rejected again and I've taken some time to go back through the comments here. It seems that a whole lot of folks get rejected. Many more than the ones that chose to ask the question "why?" I use "rejected" specifically because of some of the admins comments. When I read, "Bottom line: Its nothing personal when we vote something down, and there might not even be a specific reason, we are actually just encouraged to be strict." from an admin, I immediately have a cure. POST the criteria that are behind the scenes in the background that are NOT posted on this page. Just how are the admins instructed to be strict? Strict in regards to what rule or rules? Tell us up front and we can self critique and know up front whether an image should make the cut.

We're encouraged to stay strict in regards to quality, although I'm not sure there is a set of strict rules since we get so many submissions every day.
In order for a submission to be accepted it has to win 2/3'rds of the votes, and since we're all different people the definitions of "aesthetically- or visually pleasing" is very fluid, I for one would have voted yes on your submission and you already had a "yes" on it, so if it were up to me it'd have made it.
